Highly recommended.

I have several monopods but this is my favorite. I like to use it legless and with the metal spike when walking, but the leg helps stabilize it. I mostly wear it without legs because it's lighter. I chose aluminum because it wasn't much heavier and about $100 cheaper. Now I think I should have switched to carbon fiber. I have a high quality Manfrotto carbon fiber monopod, but I'm having a hard time keeping it stable. I also love that you can detach the top and with my Desmond DMH-2 tilt headโ€ฆ

Amazing build product.

Nice product. Not sure what to say others not by video reviews. If you haven't seen any reviews yet, go to checkout [.] (if the link is broken or removed just search sirui 204s review cheesycam) I was really on the edge between this and Manfrotto (sorry Manfrotto BUT I bet it says your MVH500AH, so we're even). Spring. glad i went. The biggest downside I "thought" would be the twist locks for lifting. Good thing they threw it out the door when I realized it wasn't even a full turn toโ€ฆ

what customer service?

Well, first of all I liked the product. Pros: It looks sleek and feels very solid. The ability to tilt the base is great, although I haven't found a situation to use it. Legs allow me to place the camera and feel comfortable. I was able to disassemble everything to fit in my carry on. minuses. I left and one of the legs just fell off because one of the nuts/bolts on one of the legs slipped out as you can see in the picture. I put another screw in to keep the leg from falling off again but Iโ€ฆ

Heavy but well made with great features

I've been eyeing this Sirui monopod for a while after hearing nothing but rave reviews. I set a price alert and finally found one at a price I could afford. I don't do a lot of videos, but I wanted something that would allow me to improve my B-roll and also shoot some kind of action (sports) video. I don't use a heavy rig - a Canon 70D, a Panasonic GX85 mirrorless camera and an older Panasonic camcorder. It might be a little overkill for most of these setups, but the Sirui's capabilities areโ€ฆ

Bought a second (carbon fiber) after years of using aluminum

My work ranges from recording 30 second commercials, TV news segments, interviews to event coverage and these monopods have performed exceptionally well proven. I have a GH5 in a cage, a Panasonic XLR, a Rode mic, wooden handles, a small flashlight, and wireless gear attachment points. When used primarily as a speed booster with a Sigma Art lens, this is quite a heavy fully loaded rig. Compared to a traditional tripod, it's 10 times easier to pick it up and move it to where I need to be andโ€ฆ

Some really nice things BUT one not so nice thing!

I had the opportunity to use it in several real life shots. When purchasing a monopod, the goal is to have equipment that allows you to move quickly and have the flexibility to change your camera's position and adjust camera height. The monopod is also designed to add some stability to the camera, much like a tripod. Although this unit has much longer legs that offer better stability than many other monopods on the market, I really wish I could turn the knobs to loosen and tighten the poles toโ€ฆ

Excellent monopod with versatile bags in professional packaging

I bought this monopod for a unique and personal hunting project. It is very light and takes up very little space. The adjustable three-leg base offers great versatility, allowing it to be used to support its own weight and a medium sized camera, or with the legs folded down it can be used as a traditional monopod. The twist locks are nice and give a positive feeling of movement when unlocking/locking. The shaft feels strong yet light. The top of the foam mounting grip provides a comfortableโ€ฆ

High quality materials and fully adjustable

Just wow. I was looking for a durable, reliable monopod with adjustability. I understand it. Reading the reviews I underestimated how good it really is. It has so many settings, it can do everything I need. One of my favorite features is the pivot function. You release the latch on the bottom and you can change the angle by keeping all three feet on the ground. By loosening the locking ring at the top, you can pan without rotating the entire monopod. If you need to toss it in your luggage, itโ€ฆ
