Did exactly what I needed. No software is included in the scope of delivery. So if you want to watch Blu-ray discs, please make sure to buy the necessary software or use the search engine to find the right software to take full advantage of this product. The user manual recommends PowerDVD or Nero, but there are other options. Disc reading is quiet and fast. It only needs a USB connection to work. Windows 10 automatically recognized the drive. Take your time and research how to use it.

It takes a lot of time and effort to find the right spam/malware free software to make this thing work without regional restrictions. Once you have everything installed and tested everything will work fine. Runs fairly quiet for an external drive and can switch from device to device. The seller/manufacturer contacted me and helped me with this item, so thanks for that. Easy to connect and use

I only used it to import the CD into iTunes. The cables are located in a convenient and functional recess at the bottom of the product. It worked flawlessly for what I needed.

Good enough for computers and accessories

The cable is too short and permanently connected. I got by without the extension, but you might be out of luck. Blu-ray playback was very choppy on an i3 machine with 16 gigabytes of RAM. It works fine on an i7 machine with 32 gigabytes of RAM. On both machines I had to use both cables that came with the drive to play the Blu-Ray, which is cumbersome but doesn't bother me. Won't burn Blu-Ray

Failed to burn video to Blu-Ray or BDMC file in Windows 10 operating system. Also played Blu-Ray movie. Blu-ray video cannot be played with third-party player software. I have no idea why, although I suspect it has something to do with Windows 10 not supporting Blu-ray playback, but I'm not sure. Inexpensive USB device, good speed, but the cable is too short!

Light materials so handle with care. When recording, the recording starts at a slower speed in the center (2.6x on my W10 laptop) and ramps up to 5.9x as it nears the outer edge. On my W7 PC the speed was only 1.6x, but Microsoft says that downloading a proprietary update from Microsoft will fix the speed in Windows 7.
