Enhancing Productivity with the Logitech MX Performance 3 Mouse

It was a chilly Monday morning, and I was gearing up for another busy week of work. As a content creator, my days were filled with writing, editing, and multitasking across various applications and documents. I knew it was time for an upgrade, and the Logitech MX Performance 3 Mouse had been on my radar for a while. I decided to take the plunge and see if it could truly elevate my productivity. As I unboxed the MX Performance 3, the first thing that struck me was its sleek and premium…

    Pros
    • For me, the Logitech MX Performance 3 Mouse is a game-changer. Its ergonomic design feels it's made for my hand, allowing me to work tirelessly for hours without discomfort. Customizing the buttons for specific functions in different applications has become my productivity secret saving me precious time. With Flow technology, switching between my multiple computers is a breeze, making multitasking effortless. The extended battery life relieves me of the constant worry of recharging. While it might be on the pricier side, the Mouse has become an essential tool that optimizes my experience.
    Cons
    • A few drawbacks stand out when it comes to the Logitech MX Performance 3 Mouse. The price, while justifiable for its features, may be a bit steep for budget-conscious users. Additionally, the mouse's weight, though comfortable for everyday use, can feel somewhat heavy when I switch to gaming, where I prefer a lighter mouse for faster movements. While these aspects may not align perfectly with my specific needs, they don't diminish the overall value and performance this mouse brings to my daily work routine.

A good product, but having its own defects.

The mouse cost $8,000 and was purchased from Amazon at the end of May in 2022. There are several videos explaining the features, so I won't bother writing about them. Nothing more than the semblance of effort. This year, I used not one but two different Logitech mice: the m705 marathone and the m180. This means that I alternated between entry-level, mid-range, and high-end input devices. It turns out that this is not ideal in this respect, which is why such a "marathon" was undertaken in the…

    Pros
    • This serves as a good example. Tactile feedback, full functionality, high-quality construction, additional keys, and a responsive steering wheel are just a few of the many advantages. The tremendous degree of customization, fluidity, and effectiveness of the main wheel were all highlights for me, however getting used to the settings and controls can be a bit of a hassle (but, as a result, you can easily scroll through the required number of lines of text from several to several hundred). The primary wheel mode is automatic, and the wheel resistance is electronically adjustable, so that by spinning with more force (which is set via the app), you can scroll roughly a thousand lines. The same m705 mode for scrolling across many lines is available on cheaper mice as well (but there the mode is switched mechanically, scrolling will be normal without activation through the button). It's been put into practice here in a way that's considerably more user-friendly. Following the m705 (up to three years on two batteries), the claimed autonomy of up to 70 days is underwhelming. There is an integrated battery and charging takes roughly 30 minutes, however the dpi is lower and the features are less here.
    Cons
    • Price. oddly, ergonomics, or more specifically, dimensions. When I tried to hold it in my hand, I realized that it was either too little or too narrow (it depends on the grip, in this case, if the palm just lies on the mouse with straight fingers). The mouse is too small for a normal man's hand (size M). One finger rests on the surface of the table, while the other, unidentified digit, rests halfway. Unfortunately, those who own heroic hands are likely to experience hardship. For starters, it'd expand in width slightly. The remaining criticisms focus solely on the price of the item. The pivoting hub has some wiggle room. There is enough flex in the primary wheel that it will rattle if you shake the mouse in the air. Second wheel does not distinguishable work, there are no "cut-offs" like the primary wheel. The bottom-left 'function' button rarely came in use.

Not everything is so bad, but there are disadvantages.

In general, I expected much more from the MX Keys and MX Master 3 set. Everyone around me screams that this is the best product currently available, but there is no enthusiasm; these are simply good devices and nothing more. Price in red for a set of ten thousand.

    Pros
    • -the ability to connect via whistle as well as by BT; -the capability of quickly switching between different devices, such as a Winbook, a Mac, and a tablet. I have the version for the Mac, which does not include the whistle, but other than that, they are identical. -good packing - good appearance - The wheel is lively and unobtrusive, and it enables you to browse quite swiftly while maintaining complete silence. - heavy
    Cons
    • -everyone squeals with delight from its shape, but I didn't understand the joke, but it's more convenient than Chinese cheap consumer goods, but it's full of mice and more comfortable, which are cheaper. -I didn't understand the joke. In overall, it's not terrible, and it's really comfy, but there isn't much excitement. - They claim that it is the best mouse available, despite the fact that it works poorly with a poppy and with Windows. There are only three keys for additional settings, and one of them is as inconvenient as it is possible. Even my unfortunate raiser from before had more features, despite the fact that it cost less. - The side wheel is inactive in 99% of all scenarios; you must manually configure it for each program in order for it to be used. - the bottom button that you need to push through the case in order to move the mouse up and down, right and left in this position - this is normally a perversion, and it would be preferable if they made 1-2 buttons on the right side, under the ring finger. - a display of the battery charge that is incomprehensible and inconvenient, both through the diode and in the most revolting software. Unlike the keyboard, which is made of metal, the mouse is entirely made of plastic. - nevertheless, the most significant disadvantage, in addition to the keyboard, is the inability to perform any actions within the UEFI BIOS, even when connected by wire. You are going to want an additional mouse and keyboard in order to complete this task.

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Since the MX Revolution, I have used Logitech mice exclusively. Since then, there have been two more Performance MXs (I bought a pair at once: one for work and one for home), and now the time has come for the new king of the mountain, the Master MX 3. All three of the prior models met a heroic end after two or three years of service due to a bug that causes the LMB to double-click. The clicker could be soldered, but by the time I exhausted that option, I was ready for a full-on moral and…

    Pros
    • Design, Materials, Ergonomics, USB-C, and Longevity
    Cons
    • - There isn't a whole lot of useful native software (for the vast majority of users it will be enough, but I would like a native ultimate utility)

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

A reliable product, quality is acceptable.

Some people may find it a little on the tall side, thus it is best to get a good feel for it before placing an order. A thing with a very narrow focus. According to the promotional materials, the click makes a rather audible sound; hence, it is not silent. Installing the application and spending some time testing it out is the best way to make sure that the settings are just right for you, especially when it comes to adjusting the scrolling speed.

    Pros
    • The materials all have a satisfying level of quality. A switch at the bottom of the mouse gives users the flexibility to bind to several different devices at once. charging both from the Type-C port and from the battery that is packed in. How much can I expect to save by purchasing cheaper batteries? It seems as though a full charge can be achieved in the mouse in just one hour. The battery level was 5% when it arrived. The functionality, in this case, consists in the fact that you are able to attach your actions directly to the buttons of specific applications by using local software. For instance, you may affix the button that activates the microphone in Discord to the one that is located under your thumb.
    Cons
    • Raw software, which is essential to ensuring that the mouse may be operated in a pleasant manner. The indication for the battery If the mouse is turned on while the laptop or personal computer is turned off, the charging indicator diode will be on. Because of this, it can be a little annoying to have to turn it off at night. Personalizing the scrolling experience requires a significant amount of time and effort. Getting acclimated to the wheel is going to take some time.

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

I can't say that I was completely satisfied with the product.

It would be a dream if it weren't for the obstacles presented by the jambs, the connection, and the wheel. And so . All of the excitement was dampened as a result of these moments.

    Pros
    • Fits nicely in the palm of the hand. The texture of the cloth is quite satisfying to the touch. Even though my palms perspire quite a bit, this mouse does not take up any dirt like the PRO X Superlight did. I am unsure as to the particular reason(s). It's quite cool how the magnetic ring gives off a buzz even with just a little twisting. It is sufficient to pay the charge. Software that is both convenient and capable of configuration.
    Cons
    • There are some issues with the wheel; it skips very frequently. Also, the settings are not the problem in any way. No matter which version of the software I use, the scrolling backlash always appears at an earlier point. despite the fact that the sensitivity of SmartShift has been decreased. This is an extremely upsetting situation. Moreover, the mouse and the MX Keys keyboard both have a tendency to periodically lose connection with the Unifying receiver. Having said that, it is by no means obvious why this is taking place. It is possible for it to function normally for one week and then begin "pulling" again. The "whistle" did not change in any way regardless of how it was rearranged. I have a feeling that it's a problem with the software. This issue keeps cropping up and going away throughout all of our meals. When I first used Logi Options Plus, it gave the impression that nothing was connected, despite the fact that the mouse and keyboard performed admirably. Despite the fact that the original Logitech mouse pad has great Teflon feet, the mouse does not glide very well across the surface. Keep in mind. Yet even the standard matte surface of an IKEA table is enough to damage them almost immediately.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am amazed at how well the product is made, just magically!

Overall impressions are favorable; using the mouse is quite convenient; the design, ergonomics, speed, and keys are all appealing.

    Pros
    • The package includes software for configuring controls, allowing you to alter how apps' buttons behave and configuring the side wheel to scroll or zoom in. I have two devices—a Macbook and a Windows laptop—and I can quickly switch between them by hitting only one button.
    Cons
    • When the PC first went to sleep, the mouse initially slid off. The issue was resolved by ating the drivers! Side scrolling with the wheel and touchpad differ noticeably from each other. The mouse scrolls jerkily, as if with a "lower FPS," but you quickly get used to it.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

I didn't get a "wow" moment from how it lies in my hand (this is said in every review). But I'm undoubtedly pleased with the purchase.

    Pros
    • Bluetooth/ergonomic 2 way connector using a different wheel to scroll horizontally Depending on how the wheel is scrolled, the vertical scrolling's intensity might vary. One finger can operate three blocks of buttons thanks to a separate ledge for the thumb. moving between devices quickly (up to 3 devices) extra fee ability to simultaneously charge and work the capacity to give each button the desired functionality or keyboard shortcuts
    Cons
    • Integrated battery as opposed to batteries

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall it's good but I expect more, there are some downsides.

Prior to that, I used a mouse from the Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Pro set for about ten years. While I had no complaints about the work, the overlays had become completely worn out, and I had to replace it. The mouse is a professional tool for me, and I use it with my iMac 5K (I won't say why I don't use my native Magic Mouse 2, as that is a different matter). I didn't like the build quality to start with. It's not bad, but for the price I just expected more. It's not Apple, and it feels a

    Pros
    • Good ergonomics, comfortable in the hand, the right weight and size
    Cons
    • cost and software.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

It's the cat's whiskers up top. I finally caved and got it after wanting it for a long time. Absolutely no complaints here; if you can afford it, go for it.

    Pros
    • Inclusion of supplementary controls, simple charging, dependability, multi-computer compatibility, and manufacturer-supplied software support
    Cons
    • Price. It's overpriced, and the premium you're paying for the name is clear, but you won't find a comparable alternative anywhere. The lack of a case for it in the package, which would have been a reasonable addition to the price.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I definitely recommend buying, I didn't notice any disadvantages.

Possesses merits; having tried and loved a keyboard from the same series, I subsequently opted to get a mouse from the same line. Given the price, there wasn't the same level of wow factor as with Claudia, but I don't regret buying it either. This object has a nice, moderate weight, and feels great in the hand. The scrolling through the timeline is really convenient, and there are many helpful features, such as two scroll modes and a wheel for horizontal scrolling. Battery lasts long enough…

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

A completely ordinary product, nothing remarkable.

Otherwise a good mouse, the comfortable shape reduces the strain on the wrist a bit. This is by far the best mouse I have ever owned. But she's not perfect. It is quite difficult to get used to the wheel, sometimes you want to throw it somewhere.

    Pros
    • Comfortable grip. log options. Side wheel. type c.
    Cons
    • The button for gestures is not very convenient, hard to reach. The wheel makes a strange sound, as if it is hitting something. Whether this is normal or not, I can't say. With a sharp scrolling, it can skip. If you scroll smoothly, then everything is fine. But in general, you need to get used to the features of the wheel.

The purchased mouse appears to be gray in the accompanying images. The colleague is wearing black. Some pros: The most superior wheel in all of the Wild West! - Button "Back" - a gun! There is a scroll bar that runs horizontally. - Extremely user-friendly in terms of ergonomics (it fits the hand like a glove). - Materials that feel cold to the touch. Batteries have a lifespan of two to three months. The disadvantages are the following: - Whenever my girlfriend moves the mouse, it lifts up…

Everything in the purchase suits, a very necessary product.

Great working mouse. And it will be super useful not only for designers and artists. you have no idea how easy it is to perform some tasks even in the office/excel/browser =) Its pros: comfortable grip with a large hand, many settings for any tasks and functions Got cons: the button under the thumb is not located in the most convenient place, it seems to me that the place is closer to the mouse body.

    Revainrating 1 out of 5

I've never seen anything worse! A terrible purchase.

I stay on 2S. Type-C is really lacking, the side buttons are uncomfortable, but for the sake of this, using the 3rd version, which is simply a failure in design and reliability, is blasphemy. In general, "run fools. " Some pros: Type-C - Quiet wheel - Sensor - Battery — Soft - Side buttons are much more convenient in shape than in 2S Has some cons: - Terrible form after 2S, arm hurts - Terrible position of the side wheel, you need to lift your thumb too high - Many cases of marriage of the main

    Revainrating 3 out of 5

Didn't quite buy it well, had a little trouble using it.

If you scroll slowly, you can catch page twitches. Same with fast scrolling. Such a mouse. Infuriates sometimes Perhaps I find fault, but the diode on the mouse and on the keyboard from the MX series are different . well . Got pros: thumb button The weight Horizontal scroll is not a bad thing, but it works on 3k Its cons: noisy Scall on Mac is buggy. False positives of the magnetic wheel. The MacOS application does not immediately turn on after unlocking and the mouse is useless for some time
