This is the second pair of these shoes that I have bought for my 8 year old son. He's active and loves hiking, and every time we go somewhere he chooses these shoes over three other pairs. The only reason I bought a second pair is simply because they've outgrown the old ones. They were still in good condition after several months of regular wear. I might just buy the next size up in case they're sold out!

I hate buying kids shoes online but Rona pushes me to do things differently. Anyway I got these shoes for my eldest son on a whim because he needed shoes and they were good. The bottom has a thin layer of rubber on top of the foam, but the rest of the shoe feels solid enough. For example, slightly lower quality than the average girls' shoes at Walmart, if that makes sense. I don't think they will last very long but I'm just glad they fit him!

We live in the mountains, so our backyard and everywhere in the neighborhood is either uphill or downhill over steep terrain. On reception it seems normal. These were the pair I wanted my son to use over the summer so they sat in the closet unused for 2 months. When he put them on the second time, the piece of metal holding the strap fell off. I didn't see him until the next day. There just wasn't a piece of metal. Now it's well past the return window. Very dubious quality.

I bought these shoes after reading reviews that they hold up to very heavy use. Well, my son officially destroyed those sneakers. Abrasion in the holes on the heel and toe and the sole comes off completely. I looked when I bought them. They arrived exactly 30 days ago! 30 days and shoes can no longer be worn. I bought these for my kid last year as we planned to do a lot of hiking. They have an excellent tread and have been used a lot on mountain trails over the past year and are still in great condition! I ordered a small childrens size 12 and this is what we got (sometimes ordering small childrens shoes on ebay can be a pain - I've been sent the wrong size before) and they fit great! I will buy the next size up this year!

Aside from the color rubbing off, the quality is good and the shoes seem to be holding up. Since they cost almost the same as the branded ones, these generics could have been made with a better sole instead of just being varnished.

I wouldn't call it hiking shoes, just running shoes. Good sole and grip. My son loves them, the lack of a tie is a bonus for a tie. It's easy to put on.

I bought my son a pair last year and they were great, lasted maybe 8 months. I ordered a pair this fall and they literally lasted a couple of weeks. They come apart, full of holes, the fingers are terribly worn out. Very disappointing, waste of money.

This product looked fantastic. However, after our child put the boot on the second time, the piece of metal holding it in place came loose.

My son loves shoes! Looks like they're holding up well. The only problem is that they're a bit bigger than we expected, but it's growing like weeds, so they should be showing up in no time.

The product is comfortable and easy to wear for my son, but the quality of the stitching is not up to expectations, I can see threads sticking out of the stitching. I'm sure it will become useless very soon, so I wouldn't call it a solid build.

Decent shoes but I had to cut off most of the velcro and sew it myself to keep them snug enough for my son's foot which is definitely NOT narrow.

So far these shoes are amazing! My child loves them and only time will tell if they hold up but they seem very sturdy and well made.

I bought this shoe for my 6 year old and he loves it. Me too! It is really well made and of good quality. It was very durable, especially since my kid destroyed a lot of his shoes. I will probably buy the next sizes for him too.

After two days these shoes started falling apart at the seams. We are currently in lockdown due to Corvid-19 so my 7 year olds are restricted to walking around the neighborhood and open spaces in the local park. This corresponds to around 6 hours of wear time. waste of money. I had to pay an extra $10-20 for a reliable brand.

I bought them and kept them until my youngest had a growth spurt. They started falling apart just two weeks after wearing them for the first time.

These shoes are great! My son has worn them 3 times on the river at Sadon and they are still in perfect condition. Often this sole pops out after getting wet and blistering on the back of the ankles is to be expected, but not in this case. So far he has had no blisters or discomfort.
