Best for the price!

I received a new drain pump which I have not installed yet. I tested it in a 5 gallon bucket of water and also tested this sensor. I like that the sensor is an electronic float switch and not a humidity sensor. This is more reliable for drainage pumps. I tested this on my iPhone and it emails you when the water level is high. You can access the site from a computer or phone and view its current status. It can also be used for low water applications by changing the configuration. Another nice…

Peace of Mind for Basement Drain Pump

This is a nifty little device with relatively simple setup. I'm concerned about my sump pump failing and my basement flooding, so I'd like a device that would give me advance warning if the water level is getting too high, specifically via text message or email. Another issue I had was reliable Wi-Fi connection, especially since it's in my basement, but the connection has been solid since I installed it a month ago. There is an option on the website under your cloud account that will send you…

WiFi 2.4 GHz required

Overall the cesspool sensor works quite well. If it continues to work well, having it in place will be very helpful. I recently found that my main drain pump had stopped working and the water level in the sump had risen significantly. Luckily the backup pump kept the water from overflowing, but having that sensor on lets me know about problems with the main pump. The main issue I have with this sensor is that it requires a 2.4GHz WiFi connection. Not many devices require this yet, and I didn't…

If you have a sump pump, use it! Will give you peace of mind!

ONE YEAR UPDATE: 99% of the time this thing doesn't do anything and you forget you have it. for me many times over. The Cleveland area fell ill on July 5th of this year and I was one step ahead when I received that warning. I have my water level set at around 50% and it rarely reaches that level, but when it does I know I'm having trouble. I can't recommend this enough if you have a sump pump. It's easy to install and set up, no recurring fees is a big help! I love this thing for 2 reasons: 1…

  • Definitely a bad product

I recommend this for any drain pump. We bought this to complement our drain pump after buying our house with a drain pump already installed. Since we didn't know anything about the history of the drain pump (the house was foreclosed on), we wanted to know that if the pump failed, we would be warned. We have a battery backed up pump so in the event of a power surge we are not alerted for every small power surge, only when there is no power for more than 15 minutes. We've had it for 2.5 years now

Very easy to install and works great

Purchased for sump installation. Thoroughly tested and very happy with the setup and features. Connect your phone or tablet directly to the device, for example give a route, set up an email address that acts as an account name, go to a website and set up a password. Possibility to alert at normal low water level (swamp hole - standard) or high water level. (well water or cistern level). Because you are always connected to an external web service, the web service may warn of a power outage or…

Great drain pump sensor

Just before the 4th of July we fixed the sump and a small amount of water soaked the carpet and pillow in the next room and the adjacent toilet. Luckily there was no structural damage as we discovered before the water level reached the drywall. We chose this system because it gives an alarm if the sensor is not updated, e.g. B. in the event of a power failure. The sensor comes in a small box with a 25-foot cable. The sensor itself plugs into a USB outlet (just like an iPhone charger). The…

This product is simple. It has a small float that registers whether it is in the up or down position and sounds an alarm depending on your choice. I use it to determine if my well-fed 5K water tank has dropped below a certain level. Essentially I hang the sensor from the lid of the tank with a copper wire with a small weight to keep it about a foot below the normal waterline. The sensor connects to my Wi-Fi and if it goes down, it immediately texts or emails me letting me know of the problem. I

Very easy setup and they work very well

UPDATE in 4-5 months: sensors are great and I will be buying two more. I recently returned to my home after months of renovations and $70,000 damage from a water leak. After purchasing two detectors (a water leak and a sump level) I had two alarms that detect leaks early. During setup I subscribed to the 3rd notification option - phone calls. Proteus is only 9 cents per call and doesn't require a subscription fee, so it's not that much. I was not in my house during the renovation and received a
