Works great on our 2001 Chevy Prizm. I originally bought this to eliminate the Poly-V belt tensioner rattling noise (common on this car) that could be heard when the car was stationary or driving slowly. That helped a little, but didn't solve the problem. I ended up replacing the tensioner assembly with a Continental Elite 49346 Accu-Drive assembly and now the noise is gone. This allowed me to get down to position the belt under the bottom pulleys while an assistant held the belt on top (my 14 year old daughter helped). Once installed you will need a decent breaker or similar to squeeze the tensioner piston to create the necessary slack to put the belt on the top pulley (alternator if I remember correctly). The new belt will likely be a little tighter than the old one as belts can stretch over time.
