Need a replacement alternator for my 2002 Nissan Frontier 3.3 narrow. I read the reviews and they were mixed. there were problems with the ether, or there were no problems at all. I bought it with fingers crossed. Receive. The box is beaten, but the generator is not damaged. What everyone has said about the need for another ground bolt to reattach the ground wire to the generator is correct. Stupid why there is no generator (the old one is too big in diameter to be reusable). I couldn't find a 5mm bolt that was short enough so I cut it to length. You will also need a washer for the new bolt. If the screw you should get is too long and you install it anyway. You will definitely damage the generator. And of course, never start a new generator with a dead or dead battery. (otherwise the new alternator needs to be charged at maximum current so it can't break in normally (overheating) (hum 🤔 makes me think, hence all the bad reviews) it's been running for 3 weeks and it's working well I'm very happy so far there.
