Countersinks are good but depth gauge is useless

I ordered this kit to use the depth gauge but for me the depth gauge is useless as it cannot be adjusted to prevent any rubbing; extreme setting - countersink flush with the surface. Hand drill depth gauges rarely work well; You cannot reasonably have a separate depth gauge for each metric, imperial, and numbered drill, but the types of jigs depend on the size of the drill. And locking screw types are unreliable and will damage the drill bit. I thought it was the key; The drill is held in a hex holder to which an equally sized depth gauge is attached for each drill. It would have worked great if they hadn't blown it and assumed you'd always sink at least 3/16". It's much more common to drill a hole you want to control the depth of but not sink, e.g B. Mounting hardware. Too bad! Missed opportunity. Do not buy this set, buy a normal set without a depth gauge. Also a pity that there is no metric set!
