Poor quality, only two cutters per countersink

I bought this because it was cheap and had good reviews. I was looking for an additional carpentry kit to complement my Lee Valley kit that cost three times as much. Big mistake. The milling cutters on the table top have only two grooves instead of four. They work well in pine or plywood, but will dangle in hardwood and cut an oblong hole (see photo). • Very good value for money

  • Unbelievable price

Countersinks are good but depth gauge is useless

I ordered this kit to use the depth gauge but for me the depth gauge is useless as it cannot be adjusted to prevent any rubbing; extreme setting - countersink flush with the surface. Hand drill depth gauges rarely work well; You cannot reasonably have a separate depth gauge for each metric, imperial, and numbered drill, but the types of jigs depend on the size of the drill. And locking screw types are unreliable and will damage the drill bit. I thought it was the key; The drill is held in a hex

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Drill kit

They are a bit pricey but this is definitely a case where you get what you pay for and maybe a little more compared to cheaper products that break and don't work well. they are sharp in the hand and the bits are really suitable for sinking! I mention this because many of the bits on others I've had are noticeably small for the hub hole and therefore never center properly and make poorly sized and shaped holes. I really like the considerable size and the clean workmanship of the Set Screw…
