I think these are great North American adapters for use in Australia and New Zealand. They do their job well and safely. They're small and light, but will fit your North American 2 and 3 pin plugs into Oz and Kiwi outlets. Unlike these large adapters for each country, there are no exposed or nearly exposed conductors to present an electrical hazard. I believe these country specific adapters are the only way out and this particular model represents excellent value for money. North Americans should ensure that their personal electronics and other devices operate at 240V, 50Hz. While most modern devices cover the full 100 to 240 volt range, there are still some devices that are limited to the 120 volts used in North America.
