Review on πŸ–ŒοΈ Pentel Fude Brush Pen, Medium: The Perfect Tool for Expressive Brush Strokes (XFL2L) by Stacy Sturm

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not very good, the bristles break after a short time.

I have used this and the Pentel Portable Arts pen and the difference between them is quite big. After painting an entire page with this brush pen, the bristles started to split and I found I had to squeeze the pen a bit to get the ink to flow properly. It is not very comfortable to hold in hands, it seems soft. Pentel portable brush pen (Who makes this pen too!) The bristles NEVER chip, the ink flow is absolutely constant and it feels very good in the hand. I feel this pen is overrated because it is used almost exclusively by Kim Jung Gi. It's likely that the split tips won't hurt his work that much as the scale at which he uses these pens is quite large compared to the 8.5 x 11 piece where the fine detail is obviously compromised.
