The jaws of these clamps are not designed to evenly crimp (flatten) the tubing, causing fluid to pass through the pinch point.
Pros
- The Hose Clamping Tool Set contains three clamping tools suitable for many types of flexible hose. When replacing calipers or flushing the heating element, pinching the hoses will not leak fluid or damage the soft hose. Ideal for use on soft water lines, soft gas lines, fuel lines, soft coolant lines, brake hoses, heater hoses, lawn mower hoses, radiator hoses, etc. Due to material limitations, clamp pliers are not suitable for rigid, consolidated or high pressure lines.
