Description of YSTOOL Pack Hose Clamp Pliers

Hose pinching pliers set includes three clamp plier tools to fit for many types of flexible tubes. While replacing the brake calipers or flushing the heating core, pinch off the hoses will neither cause fluid leaks nor damage the soft tube. Ideal for use on water soft pipe, gas soft pipe, fuel line, coolant soft pipe, brake hose, heater hose, lawnmower hose, radiator hose and more. Due to material limitation, hose clamp pliers are not suitable for hard, consolidated or high pressure pipe lines. All three pipeline pinch off clamps are of the same shape except for their effective usage length: 3/4"(small clamp total length: 6-1/8"), 1-1/2"(medium one: 7-1/4"), and 3-1/8"(large one: 10"). Heat-resistant and non-conductive nylon plastic construction, safe and durable. It is a good assistant to clamp the flexible pipe tightly at where you need to and effectively avoid fluid and air leak. You don't have to fully drain out the liquid for much trouble, shorten the maintenance time. There is a small gap(same length of 1/8'') between the jaws of fluid hose pinching pliers, designed to make room for thicker hose operation and avoid the clamping action is "V" in shaped. Otherwise you will find one side is clamped well but the other side drips. If the hose is too thin to be clamped firmly, pad waste plastic sheets between the jaw and hose may help solve the problem. No leak or drips. Attention: Please fix slider with the handle and keep the two ends of it at the same line. Equipped with a built-in locking mechanism, these line clamp pliers allow the pliers to be caught with a safety buckle according to the size of the clamp, 0~2-3/8"(small and medium tool) and 0~3"(large tool) move distance of the slider. Rounded jaw edges help grip the hoses but avoid damage to internal hose. Shape design is also comfortable and easy to operate. Handsfree and simple. So much better than using locking pliers that always easily break the pipe and make a mess. Your satisfaction and recognition are always what we pursue. Within one month from the date of purchase, the product can be returned unconditionally if it is complete and without any damage. Within one year warranty period, any quality issue with the product, you are promised to exchange or refund the problematic parts for free. Please contact us to resolve any issues during your use before leaving any feedback.

Impressive hose clamp pliers

These pliers saved me countless frustrations during an automotive radiator hose change! Through trial and error, I found that these pliers were the easiest to use, even in tight spaces. The grip is comfortable and the tension is just right. The only downside is that the price is a bit high compared to other options. Overall, a great investment for any DIY car enthusiast.

Pros
  • Easy to use in tight spaces
Cons
  • Price is a bit high

Misdesigned Jaws

The jaws of these clamps are not designed to evenly crimp (flatten) the tubing, causing fluid to pass through the pinch point.

Pros
  • The Hose Clamping Tool Set contains three clamping tools suitable for many types of flexible hose. When replacing calipers or flushing the heating element, pinching the hoses will not leak fluid or damage the soft hose. Ideal for use on soft water lines, soft gas lines, fuel lines, soft coolant lines, brake hoses, heater hoses, lawn mower hoses, radiator hoses, etc. Due to material limitations, clamp pliers are not suitable for rigid, consolidated or high pressure lines.
Cons
  • I'll write later
