Review on πŸ’™ Bosch BS871 Blue Drum Brake Shoe Set for 2005-17 Toyota Tacoma - REAR: Enhanced Braking Performance by Josh Koa

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Unlike BOSCH brake pads, there are no fasteners (or lubricants) included. Not only for BOSCH

The pads seem strong but all the pads I've bought are the same. This shoe, like all others, doesn't contain the simple little C or horseshoe cleats that you really need for good braking. It's just not worth reusing old ones. NAPA has a 4-pack for $1.29, you need all four for a 2009 Toyota Tacoma. Brake pads don't really brake very well. I have not found original spare parts better or worse than BOSCH, Wagner, Centric. I don't know why Toyota keeps using them but they do and why I have great components up front as they do at least 75% of the braking. If BOSCH or other shoe manufacturers would supply the clips they would get 5 stars. I'm sure they could add four for about 5 cents, a cheap price to get 5 stars.
