MUCH better than OEM construction. The thermostat froze an hour from home while driving home from work one day, cracking the plastic where the filler neck attached to the radiator hose of a 2013 Chrysler 200. It's much better in design and durability, the build quality is better. You can see that when unpacking. The OEM was cheap, poor design, but not like that. It was also cheaper than O'Reilly for the same make and part number, by $50. Also easy and quick replacement. No clips are supplied, but I highly recommend ditching the factory clips and using o-ring clips, which you tighten with a screwdriver or socket, as they take a lot more pressure under clamping force.
