Loud little fan. - Energy accessories

First impression. I've only been working with him for a day, but I wanted to give my two cents. Overall, the device makes a very reliable and functional impression. I use it to transmit a Hytera MD-655 DMR radio and have been told that my transmission is completely silent and silent. Oddly enough, I can't say much about the silence on my desk. When I turn on this power supply, the fan turns on. Even when I turn off the radio (no load on the horsepower), the fan is still running at full speed. I have it on a wooden table so it almost sounds like an air conditioner running, it's bloody loud. I'm wondering if I have a bad block, I really don't understand why the fan should run at full power with no load. Even when the radio isn't moving on the meter, it's only drawing about 3 amps when transmitting since I'm running the radio at 3 watts. I will update the review over the next few weeks. I really don't see any problems other than this fan. == UPDATE 05/18/18 == The fan problem I had from the start only got worse. The fan is very noisy when you first turn on the device, after a few minutes it seems to calm down and stop making the same loud noise. It looks like it's rattling in there, the fan in this unit just isn't very good and as such I can't recommend it unless you have a good retail price. == UPDATE 12/13/17 == I spoke to the seller today about my concerns about the fan. Apparently on this device, when the device is turned on, the fan turns on and runs non-stop. So remember that the fan is running 100% of the time. I uploaded a video of the PSU running with no load. Remember that to the right of the unit is a laptop and right next to it (not visible in the video) is a large, humming computer case with 4x 120mm fans. This little fan makes a lot of noise.
