Review on 🔧 SBC 283 305 327 350 383 400 Silicone Valve Cover Gasket - 7484BOX by Carta Gutierrez

I don't know why or what happened but one side worked perfectly. The driver's side was leaking like it didn't even have a gasket. I bought new Chev valve covers to replace some of the aluminum covers. I have the left side with small problems. The gasket didn't fit snugly in the holes and took a bit of persuading, but after that it went through quite easily. The right side wanted to fight me for some reason. Again the holes don't match up, just my build with stuff in the way. After some perseverance, the right side was planted and tightened. I was expecting problems on the right side. No, it is perfectly sealed. On the left left side, oil leaks from the lower part of the valve cover, as if the gasket weren't there. After two failed attempts I went to a local store and bought cork pads which sealed with no problem. Also, I received the black spacers, not the blue ones as shown in the picture.
