To put it bluntly with some settings, the colors are pretty decent. And the brightness isn't bad if you turn it on and enable HDR. The image (after fine-tuning) is excellent for most tasks. I am a commercial photographer and often do accurate color reproduction. For this I rely on high-quality monitors that cost a lot of money. However, often your client and team just need to see the image, and that's great for that. The color is close enough by the time I get back to the studio. This is a good, feature-packed IPS display, big for this portable category. It's pretty much plug and play and could be a one cable solution if you have USB C. Otherwise, it's a USB-C cable for power and an HDMI cable for video and audio. The package includes 2 USB-C cables, a power adapter and an HDMI cable. One thing I really appreciate is that it actually has a full size HDMI and not mini or micro like those portable monitors. However, USB C is the most convenient. I also like that there are VESA-compatible screw mounts on the back. The case/stand attaches to it with magnets, just like an iPad case. In fact, the overall packaging and vibe is a bit like Apple. Overall this is a really great large portable monitor for the price. The color (after tuning) is damn decent, but not perfect. Size is great, portability is great, overall great packaging. Really great for so many uses. Very flexible and multifunctional, with reliable technical characteristics. I recommend for most uses. If you need absolutely accurate color reproduction then get ASUS PRO ART, if not then definitely worth considering.
