Microsoft Accelerator is a digital ladder for easy and faster growth of startup companies in computing fields
Microsoft accelerator is a service provided by Microsoft corporation that quicken the pace at which startups companies in tge area of computer technology can develop and achieve their goals. Personally i will call a form of a digital ladder that can be held on to and attain great heights.
We already know how difficult it is for startup to grow in this age. Factors like lack of access to loan, lack of access to good mentorship, lack of access to customers, lack of access to te hnological equipments and lots more can really be an hindrance to the growth of such startup companiea.
Microsoft Accelerator provides a lasting solution to all of these problem through their mentorship programme. They also link up startups with their ever increasing customer base. Through their Microsoft Azure, such startups can also have access to their cloud provisioning and thus can avoid spending unnecessarily on technological equipments since it is already on the microsoft cloud services.
One of the problems i noticed is that it may not be opened to all countries yet. Also intending applicants need a refferal id to apply which must be from an accelerator or a startup enabling company so it is not a service open to every startup, everywhere.
Pros
- It does not require any equity from startups
- it provides 24/7 technical support
- Startups can benefit from vatious technical tools provided by microsoft
- Users have access to an large, exponentially increasing ecosystem of customer from Microsoft
Cons
- Refferal Ids is compulsory to apply which can only be gotten from a registered accelerator or startup enabling organization so it is not open to individuals who does not have a link with such organization
