Despite the general complaint, I still took a chance and lost. The dreaded check engine light came on three days after installation. Here's the problem: You can physically see that the cap isn't fully screwed in before the clicker engages, and therefore isn't making contact with the o-ring in the cap. I have a Nissan Frontier and the thread is different although similar. This is not a universal item as claimed. I could send it back but I think it has too many threads as my original only has one so I might flatten it out in the first few threads to see how that fixes it. If not, I don't have $14 and will look for a better one at some point.
