Review on High Performance K&N Cold Air Intake Kit: Increase Horsepower for 2007-2014 Honda/Acura (Accord, Crosstour, TL) 3.5L and 3.7L V6 - Model 69-1210TS by Josh Allen

Sounds stronger, better than MPG, a little faster.

I like it very much. I installed a '09 Accord V6 Coupe AT and it's an improvement in every way. Benefits1. The engine sound is more powerful and sporty and because it's on a V6 rather than an I4 it doesn't have that annoying 'sharper' sound. MPG has improved by about 2 MPG or more, and that's despite the fact that I've been getting more frequent. I average 22mpg when mostly driving around town and actually it was around 18mpg based on my driving style (19mpg city rating). So here it is significantly improved.3. The engine is more powerful, which is noticeable when shifting from 1 to 2, which now includes a pleasant tire chirp and increased torque. This is just with the car in normal auto driving mode and peddling on the metal and VCA incl. Minus 1. Took me several hours to install. *eye roll*2. There are no, no codes or lights, it works great. Verdict: I would definitely recommend it to anyone just because of the improved MPG. But the sound is amazing and if you leave the throttle below halfway no one will know you've done anything so that's nice as I'd rather surprise people. Bonus: the performance is slightly increased compared to the standard. To me, this upgrade should offset the 200-300 pounds of sound weight (second battery, condenser, etc.) and soundproofing (everything except the dash removed from the cabin for soundproofing) that I added. It makes up for it all and then highly recommended given my improved gas mileage.
