Telescoping is not blocked

The telescope function is not blocked when rotating. It felt locked up until I used it on the car. It just twisted. I had to keep the tip which defeats the purpose. Buyer Warning. I probably won't buy another telescopic brush without seeing it in person. Note: There is no weird "mop" here. GENERAL. Not even sure what it's supposed to do.
