Review on Kwikset Cylinder Handleset Featuring SmartKey by Michael Langelius

The price and ease of replacing everything in a new home with the same key made this set an easy choice. I'm very happy with how everything went. I would give it five stars if it weren't for a small installation error; This set had the same specs as the old one I replaced, but for some reason the screw hole at the bottom of the handle was offset by a millimeter or two. It could have been wear and tear on the door, poor workmanship by the previous owner (probably given the condition of the rest of the house; we couldn't even open the door with the old handle on the outside), or the wrong choice. Specifications on the set. Whatever the reason, additional drilling was required for installation. But it still looks good and a little over-drilling of the hole wasn't enough to make you regret the purchase. I love how it looks on the door and you can actually get in if you need to use the handle now. Without this catch, you could get the highest score.
