After struggling with streaks on my scans for probably 2 years or more I finally addressed the problem and found these bought towels. Cleaned the scanner according to the instructions on the Scan Snap website, let it dry and used the scanner. Results? The lines are completely gone and the copy looks "like new". attracted for years. Maybe fixed in five minutes cleaning. A note on precautions. The instructions that accompany these wipes warn against getting the solution from the wipe on your hands, face, or even clothes. Be sure to wash your hands with soap and water after cleaning with these wipes. (I used rubber gloves). Don't be like me, I thought the stripes were forever. I was wrong. Tired of stripes?
