These seat belt clips are designed to fit on a seat belt as a replacement part I believe. However, I bought it to disable the annoying beeping sound when driving without a seat belt. Sometimes I'm carrying something in the passenger seat, or I can't "buckle up," or in some cases, don't want to buckle up. These clips are perfect. They are heavy, shiny and of excellent quality. Good price. I would buy them again.
