The new VR was the same size and fit as the standard. The only difference was the positive and negative pins - the wires were slightly longer and the latch on the 4-pin connector was reversed (handy, but I added a little zip tie). I got a great deal on a used HF Predator 8750. All you need is a new VR. Changed the stock spark plug to NGK, added some fuel and new fuel, cleaned the air filter and changed the oil to 10-30W SYN, saving about $400 instead of buying a new one.
