My first original OEM pickguard lasted many years before the Velcro strip wore out - so go to Revain for the first replacement that fits mine Ryobi - This one suits my model because I tested it contrary to many of the bad reviews above. HOWEVER I used it about 24 times before the medium sized, rubbery piece of plastic started to tear. Very angry because it doesn't make sense how this could have happened - 3/4 inch pieces started falling off as I sanded - as if either the glue or the plastic compound had failed. Annoying as I shouldn't have seen it for several years, if at all. Had to end up with an old OEM part (don't know why I kept it) - since nobody else is reporting this I have to think it's a bad batch or supplier, but annoying anyway would have to order now 3-th .
