Review on 🔑 Bolt 5922987: Genuine Factory Tailgate Handle for Silverado & Sierra Lock Cylinder, Black by Adam Clemons

Replaced the main tailgate handle on my 2011 Silverado 1500 with this pup. Installation was a breeze after watching a few online videos showing how easy it was. Looks the same as the original except for the keyhole. I put the key in the ignition, turned it clockwise 180 degrees, and that was it. Now it works with my ignition key. The quick install tip isn't clear in the videos I've seen: the outer handle cover, which you have to remove first, is actually held in place by a three-bolt bottom bolt in the tailgate. First loosen this screw and then remove the cover. Install this screw last after everything is done when you reattach the new cover. Piece of the cake!
