Review on JW Pet Company Activitoys NutCase by Shirlene Livingston

I use this a lot with my two Indian ringnecks. They loved it straight away and are always angry when they see me take it out because they know what's about to happen :) What struck me right away is that the rubber doesn't have a chemical smell that I've experienced with similar toys. Birds also like to chew on the rubber itself, but I haven't seen any damage to it. My only gripe is that you have to have things in pretty big chunks or they'll just fall out. I find that chopped veggies and fruit work well when they're such a size that you can barely fit them through the holes. Smaller berries like blueberries and most nuts (at least my IRNs can handle them) fall out immediately and go to waste. On the other hand, with things that stay inside, this seems to reduce food waste as they eat through the egg in small pieces instead of just taking a piece out of the bowl and dropping it. When they pull out a piece, they seem to protect it better and prevent it from falling off as easily.
