Review on DEWALT DW7350 Planer Integrated Mobile by Aaron Vang

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A stand must be available. Great design/quality with a few small nits.

Great base, solid construction, assembly was pretty easy despite the meager instructions. One issue is the foot pedal, which either sticks out too far or is in the base and difficult to reach. I found a simple solution and as I post this review I see that James Morgan found and posted the exact same solution! (Install, then remove the locking ring and pin, and rotate the pedal so it's facing out again, but out of the way this time. Dewalt should assemble them as standard, or at least provide instructions on how to do so. Another minor downside is that the screws, which serve as the axle for the plastic wheels are threaded all the way through, so cut into the plastic wheel with every movement. I order M8 shank bolts (unthreaded) for the wide wheels, giving a smooth footprint. This is negligible as these struts don't have a lot of freeway kilometers.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Empty
