Do you have a machine shop? are you a good driver

Straight out of the UNDAMAGED BOX, the parts of the base assembly are SHREDDED so the BOLT HOLES DO NOT MATCH. You will need to CHECK the enlarged holes so you only get the screws holding the base assembly together to hold the base together. I bought it as a table for my drill press. The only good thing was that I had a drill press when this poorly finished junk arrived. I have many Dewalt tools. NONE of them were that trash. Maybe Dewalt is now designing and manufacturing at their new Dewholt…

A stand must be available. Great design/quality with a few small nits.

Great base, solid construction, assembly was pretty easy despite the meager instructions. One issue is the foot pedal, which either sticks out too far or is in the base and difficult to reach. I found a simple solution and as I post this review I see that James Morgan found and posted the exact same solution! (Install, then remove the locking ring and pin, and rotate the pedal so it's facing out again, but out of the way this time. Dewalt should assemble them as standard, or at least provide…

Fits perfectly with my 175 lb mini router bit

In my garage I only had 26 inches of room along the wall to install a new high torque mini router bit. But I wanted to be able to move it to a larger space. for more serious work. It was possible to use the router as a drill when placed against the wall, but more space was required for routing. This block was recommended by a friend and worked great for this application. It supports 175 lbs. Mill with no problems and much more ribbed than it appears before assembly. You should be prepared to…

Good stable stand with some features

I am very satisfied with this stand. Once assembled, the stand is very solid and the mobile base works well. The assembly instructions are not actual instructions, just a diagram showing how everything comes together. You decide in which order you collect things. There is indeed an error in the diagram. As you can see in the photo the pencil is pointing to, the diagram shows that the top rear crossbar is OUTSIDE the legs. Therefore, the frame cannot be assembled correctly. The rear cross member

How to attach the foot pedal

This stand is solid and fairly easy to assemble - obviously the instructions have been greatly improved although the photos could be a bit clearer as others have pointed out. notes that mounting the reel can be a problem. I received mine with the pedal mounted over the pulley as shown in the product photo. In this position, the pedal offers a significant mechanical advantage. However, if the caster assembly is installed outside of the base, there is a tripping hazard; When installed in the…

Built like a tank in stands and mobile stands

This is a review of the DeWalt planer stand with integrated mobile stand. I won't bore you with a list of details; However, as with all assembly projects, I highly recommend you take everything out of the box, spread out, and make sure everything is in place and accounted for (Figures 1, 2, 3, 4). .6 x 53 cm), 30 inches (76 cm) high and 60.5 pounds (27.5 kg). The MDF board measures 58.5 x 50.8 cm (23 x 20 inches). Assembly I have always been impressed by DeWalt's ability to make an assembly…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • So-so

I could (almost) assemble it blindfolded - not quite natural, but the assembly problems I had before, such as B. offset holes etc. are gone. The only point of criticism would be a better illustrated construction sketch like Lego or Ikea. This is great for showing the nylon nuts on the wheels and the blown out adjuster feet - most don't know how to put a nut on the top and one on the bottom of the tube and a lock washer under the top. I didn't read it - I just looked at the picture, starting…

Allow 2-3.5 hours for assembly.

You get mountains of parts, bags of different mounting screws - every 13mm - washers and nuts and a bad exploded schematic and some not very good instructions on a small page. You can download the manual to see what I mean. [If you don't have a ratchet and 13mm socket it will take forever to assemble] Poorly labeled parts: The bolt bags are numbered 1,2. but in the manual they are marked with the letters H, I, j. This means that every time you need a screw, you need to see the screw you need in

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
