Review on Yellow Jacket 19173 Female Couplers by Dev Gotoda

Revainrating 5 out of 5

There are a lot of useless reviews and information here.

This YellowJacket adapter is required for mini-split operation. It works better than any other brand I've used. Some of the reviews are full of nonsense. 1. This has nothing to do with being able to use a car vacuum pump or the bearing of your gauge set. Most of you know this but have decided to throw it away as some of the above reviewers will likely seek professional help in the future. The flex is good as most mini splits have the service port on the bottom and it's difficult to put straight tools on them. Cheap adapters leak and it's difficult for SupCo to plug them in without losing some throttle. This is supported by a large wavy surface. I plug that in and then use the Appion tee for my probe at which point I can hose down my tank. I use my sensors on mini-splits for charging as you can monitor outlet air temp, suction line temp and vapor saturation. There is no usual hello page, so you just have to get used to what you should see. Stretch thread fittings are an Achilles' heel and you have to get them right or you'll keep topping up gas. The factory will always tell you to weigh yourself at every service, but in the real world this is not possible. Use your PT chart and don't let it freeze. I've found that 125psi is fine with me in the Texas heat, YMMV. It took forever for the professional quality of the Yellow Jacket to get here. Sorry for the long talk.
