Review on Efficient Decal Adhesive Remover Kit: GOH DODD Rubber Eraser Wheel 4 Inch with Drill Adapter, Tool Box - 2 Pack by Christopher Holker

This rubber wheel is like a giant eraser, similar to the one you might have used with pencil and paper as a child. It works by friction and forms rubber shavings, just like an eraser. You attach the wheel like a drill to a hand drill and it spins. I have used it on the roof of my VW Vanagon camper van where previous owners had put road stickers for the last 30 years. After removing the stickers with a plastic blade (also available from Revain), I used this wheel and then GooGone adhesive remover to remove the residue. Many decals have deteriorated from years of baking in the sun, so some decals could not be removed with a plastic blade and could only be pulled off with a rubber wheel. I've been working on this project here in Portland, Maine for several days this spring. In total I removed about 45 stickers and used only a small portion of the rubber on one wheel. I can't imagine needing a second steering wheel. I've also definitely seen better results in warm, sunny weather than in cold, cloudy weather. The hot water compress also helped remove stubborn stickers and adhesives. So expect a warm day for this project. I hope this review was helpful. Much luck. PS: See attached videos before and after.
