Good replacement. If your Andersen door lock fails, it is most likely a defective part.
This part fits the latch part of an Andersen 400 series door lock. The difficulty with these doors is that you have to turn the door handle up to turn the deadbolt. Our contractors forgot so they picked the lock and we found this to be the part most likely to fail in this situation. The replacement was easy and straightforward if you follow the instructions on the Andersen website. No special tools are required. We saved money on a locksmith or replaced the entire handle assembly which runs about 250 alone.
