Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

I have been using it 1-2 times a month at work for more than two years.
Histological slides are placed in the film frame (the manufacturer has a model specifically for histology, but it is not supplied to us). The resulting quality of overview images is higher than with a cheap 5Mpx USB camera and a stereo microscope (the cost of this kit is more than 100). For lack of a better option, it is an acceptable and very budgetary option for obtaining overview images of histological preparations.

Pros

The quality is incomparably higher than that of tablets with the ability to scan film. Works.

Cons

Silver Fast included in my opinion is an overly cumbersome program, there is a quick scan mode at the touch of a button, but it, in turn, is too simplified.
