**Updated 9/12/18** Has withstood winter precipitation very well. Rubber bands are of no use here either, BUT the material withstands freezing precipitation very well. The ice slid off the reflective material, didn't let water through between the cover and the car. The only places the lid had frozen to the car were at the seams. watch the video You will see the ice slide right off the surface. **Update** After a few months of use (April-August) I have two problems. 1) The rubber band that holds the cover to the car is not strong enough for outdoor use. and quickly lost its elasticity. On the positive side, the fabric isn't ripped or torn, just the straps are no longer elastic. 2) it does not withstand the wind very well. Lids stay safe. However, the wind penetrates under the cover and lifts it off the vehicle, causing precipitation and debris to enter under the cover. Overall I'd say it's a good investment if you're going on vacation and don't plan on using it for very long. It is not seasonal. **End** After looking at the lengths of my cars on the manufacturers sites, I crossed my fingers and hoped I ordered the right ones (I ordered 2). Arrived on time. Nicely packaged in an outer very light display case and an inner black storage case. It's heavier than I expected and the material looks exactly like the pictures in the description. It definitely fits. I'm glad all the windows are closed to protect my car and its interior. I'm not sure about the stability of the coating. It is held on all four corners with a rubber band with a plastic clip, and on the handles with a rubber band with a clasp. As in the pictures. BUT. It's very windy here in Oklahoma. I'll wait and see how stable the coating is. And if the seams hold up. This is a very common problem with car covers that I have used. Overall I am very satisfied with the product. It's a very good price, it feels very durable, it's heavier than most cases and the extra storage pocket is very useful.
