Apparently bombproof?

Excellent clutch with all the details although it looked like an improvised explosive device had detonated from the inside. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it's great!

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Gone

Good leadership. Terrible presentation.

The item upon delivery looked like it had fallen off the back of a truck several times. In fact, the package was destroyed. The heavy steel survived, the bag of parts survived, but they dig and scrape.

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not sure

Good clutch, but small levers hold up.

Good clutch but the little levers holding the distributor rods are useless. In my opinion they don't do anything when the bars are clipped in and Reese doesn't use them anyway, I say remove them and use a clutch that works fine on my rig.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Tow hitch for new trailer

Tow hitch was received from Revain with minimal packaging but no parts were missing. The clutch is well made and comes with good instructions. The rated load is accurate. There is a design flaw: the hitch ball mount angle adjustment [used to adjust the spring rod load] is only held by friction on the side pinch bolts. There is no "holder" to keep the bracket's angle from changing and relies on a spring bar load to hold things together. If the hitch is used without spring bars [as I sometimes do

Excellent hook. fits exterior accessories

So this one has a little history. I have a 10K trailer with a 950 lb drawbar. During an overland trip from Los Angeles, California to Nashville, Tennessee, one of the luggage racks broke on the road. I called Kurt at 4:50pm and got in touch with one of their tech support reps. He was able to call the local representative in New Mexico and stayed after hours to make sure I was taken care of. I was ordered at 8am this morning to go to Curt's dealer for a replacement under warranty. The store…

Works well, assembly is easy

I bought this hitch assembly because my truck had a Curt hitch installed and I thought it would be best to use the same brand for the hitch and weight distribution unit on mine to use caravans (also known as "campers"). My camper is small, total weight is 5500# and (I think) the drawbar is about 600#. The hitch comes disassembled, which isn't much of a surprise, and it wasn't too bad putting it together if you're a bit mechanically inclined. . The product was not packaged in a different…

Good trailer hitch - helps with a large trailer and a full load

Complete and fairly easy to assemble. Use this with a 2004 F150 Super Crew 5.4 with the factory tow package. I'm towing a 4,200 pound 24' x 8.5' van trailer with a 3,000 pound race car and maybe 400 pounds of stuff. We've almost reached the limit of truck towing. The rear sway bar and new Rancho shocks on the back of the truck helped at first, then I added this hitch and it helped the truck pull much better. The included "meh" instructions are decent but short. Enough to install the trailer…
