These knobs look great and the crystal glass makes the look and feel definitely high-end. My only reason for a 4 rating was the manufacturing quality. One out of the 4 knobs that I purchased was out-of-tolerance on the through-hole to set-screw location on the mounting post (too hard to describe with words or even a picture, without pointing to an engineered drawing). Bought two of these to replace modern ones that were out dated (oxymoron?) they look great in this old 1939 house. The glass knobs are heavy. The metal/mechanism sturdy. They are a bit tight and hard to turn compared to the other knobs, but I’m sure the springs well loosen over the years. You may need to make a small cut out at the bottom of the hole in the door so the privacy lock will work. It’s easy to do with a round file or Dremel tool w/tiny sanding drum bit.

Very easy to install, my better half had them installed quickly. We bought dummy door knobs and privacy door knobs. That's my feedback!

This knob is beautiful and fits super well for the style of our guest bathroom, however, we’ve noticed because it’s not a smooth/round knob and sort of hard to turn little kids and older guests have had a little bit of trouble gripping it.Just leaving this review as something for people to think about- still love the knob!

These are beautiful and well made. However, because of the ridges on the glass knob edges, they are harder to grasp and open and they can hurt your hand. Because of that we chose to return.
