The plug for connecting to the factory plug does not fit. This will work, but it required some bending of the pins to get them apart for the factory connector to work. Also, it doesn't snap into place until I cut some of the plastic off the tab holding it shut. But after connecting and installing it works fine and bright enough.

What a disappointment! First, this headlight has to fit my 2003 Suburban. The flashlight itself works, but the connector does not connect. However, there is a spare wiring harness that comes with the light. So I cut off the original connector and connected it to the new wiring harness. I then tried to connect the wire harness that came with the light to the flashlight, but found that the wire harness didn't fit the flashlight! They got along, but they don't fit together!

This light literally took about four minutes to install. To be honest Chevy parts are very easy to swap out in my experience. At least for the older model truck I have, it's a 2003 Chevy Tahoe Z71. The only thing you might need is to buy a new rubber gasket around the light. My old one still works fine but I will be replacing it too. The flashlight itself is excellent and works well. Connect, test, install and make sure the grommet/fixing is secure and you're done.

Overall good product, would buy again. The socket and pins do not mate well with the original harness connector. But they offer a braid fork which I haven't tried. Instead, I moved the pins in the device connector a bit and plugged in my original connector, but the latch would not engage. Still, it's a product worthy of a Chinese-made licensed copy, perhaps from country newcomers who've never seen a tall traffic light before and have no idea what a Chevrolet is. I'm having trouble connecting this thing. Because even with a braid it doesn't fit perfectly. I'm disappointed because I don't have to change anything to make this thing fit. I was about to return it when I decided to look at the reviews and everyone with a bad review had the same issue. You'll either have to cut the plastic or move the wire connectors up or down. Liked the fit and ease of installation. The connector was slightly different on my 2004 Suburban, but I plugged it in and the connection seemed fine. I ordered this light to replace my 2006 Yukon XL Denali. I removed the old flashlight and wanted to plug in the new one but they showed me the wrong socket on the flashlight! They advertised an ACCURATE fit for my car. To make that claim, they included the correct connector with raw wires. Connector pins are pitifully thin and bend very easily. The pigtail plug included in the kit didn't even fit the outlet - it was for a completely different type of connection.
