Used this with my 1/2" Milwaukee gas and has held up well. I have a 4th gen Dodge and the gimbals are huge as well like the ball joints it works great for that another set I bought has all the dies but my exposure messed up the threads in the press so I bought this one and couldn't be happier.

I successfully pressed out the lower ball joints on my 2003 Silverado 2500 HD. This is a professional tool that saves time and makes me happy. I bent my old heavy duty yoke without loosening the ball joint. I would not recommend using a hammer or heating the control levers for safety reasons. Can't get enough of my new ball joint press.

I bought this to make some ball joints where a regular tool just isn't big enough to fit the shell. It arrived in a decent blow molded plastic case. The tool is heavy and thick. The downside is that the threads are cheap and flimsy. Slack enough that you can move the end of the driveshaft about 1 inch either way. I see that this will cause problems in the future. They seem so loose that I'm afraid they might break. I used this tool on a ball joint and it worked fine. I guess time will tell but…
