Worked great for a pantry closet my kid kept leaving open.

We have a pantry closet (with all the snacks) that opens into a hallway. If the door is left open, it obstructs the hallway. This was a perfect solution. It closes gently with only one hinge, and no fear of hurting my 4yo son's fingers.

Pros
  • Excellent fitting
Cons
  • May require additional tools for installation

Exactly what was needed. Better than the door springs

We got these because the door springs that go on the hinges were tearing up my doors. Even with the little rubber pieces they were wearing the doors away. These hinges installed easily and I honestly only needed one per interior door set to the 4th setting to keep most doors closed. Two of the doors needed two hinges, but that was the recommendation anyway. I would buy these again, and more of them.

Pros
  • Yeah, its a hinge...but it was easy to install and set the tension and the finish was nicely done.
Cons
  • May not be visually appealing to some consumers

Well built but bulky

Using one hinge only doesn’t apply enough force to close the lock on the door. Otherwise it is well built and of good quality, a little bulky.

Pros
  • Door Hardware & Locks
Cons
  • Could cause damage to surrounding surfaces upon closing

Good hinges in my review

Bought these for interior doors. They work very well and are quite easy to adjust the tension on. The company also has great customer service! I ordered nickel finish but they accidentally sent brass. These things happen so wasn’t too upset. I messaged them what happened and all they asked was for a photo of the hinges & the product # from the box. They had the correct hinges on the way in less than 24 hours from my initial message & were on my doorstep 2 days later. Happy customer that will…

Pros
  • The 3-1/2" Self-Closing Spring Door Hinge With 5/8" Radius Corners is sleek and stylish in oil rubbed bronze
Cons
  • May not be suitable for high humidity environments

Exactly what the doctor ordered

My kids and wife resist the urge to close the bathroom door in a high traffic area. I popped this sucker in there and BAM! Problem solved. Off to hit another bathroom. Great product and high quality.

Pros
  • They do good job but, it will be great if they have enough force to shut the door.
Cons
  • May not match other existing door hardware

Easy To Install, Good Value, Good Quality

I have a basement door that always swings open, due to the door jamb not being plumb. I need the door to keep nearly closed but not entirely closed, as our cat needs to be able to go to the basement for its litter box. With these hinges, I was able to install both of them and adjust them to have just enough tension to slowly pull the door nearly closed.Installing is easy, if you have a standard American-style factory-hung door, as most of them have 3-inch hinges with 5/8-inch rounded corners…

Pros
  • The oil-rubbed bronze finish resists corrosion and tarnishing, making them suitable for outdoor or indoor use
Cons
  • May not be as versatile as other hinge options

Easy to adjust for my opinion

Fit was exact on my doors. check your radius of the corners. I used mine on the bathroom and adjusted it to close the door but not latch it. Works great,

Pros
  • Easy to install with included screws
Cons
  • May require frequent maintenance to prevent malfunction

These work great. good for me

I had a light door so I only have to tighten both to 2. I could always go higher but the door would really slam then.Only concern, if you push the pins in too far you need a magnetic to get them out.

Pros
  • Easy to install and works great!
Cons
  • Could be more prone to creaking or squeaking than other hinges

Keeps my cats out. in my review

I got these to keep my cats out of the garage because they open the doors. So far they are great easy to install easy to adjust.

Pros
  • It looks good and does the job.
Cons
  • May not meet building code requirements in certain areas

These things work great!

I bought a different kind of door closer from Home Depot and it didn’t work. I had to return it. Since putting these in the door closes perfectly every time. I would buy this again.

Pros
  • Hinges
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other hinge options

It works for me. for my opinion

After using the bathroom the children automatically forget to close the door and sometimes the smell is not too pleasant. The door now closes properly by itself and the smell now stays in the bathroom until the fan sucks it out. "BRAVO"

Pros
  • Exactly what was advertised, did give her a extra crank for closing speed.
Cons
  • Could be more prone to sticking than other hinges

Works great!: my feedback

I have problem with the garage door to my laundry room. People would forget to close it, so AC will leak and critters will come in. After install this, while the door will not shut and latch every time even with only 1 hinge. It does a good job to keep the door closed as the door is slightly warped. I am debating to put both but it seems such of wasted resource. I just need to give a pull when it closes. Over all, it was easy to install took about 15 minutes. I had to reinforce the screw holes…

Pros
  • UL Listed for superior safety and security
Cons
  • Could be more difficult to clean than other hinge options

The addition of these sprung hinges to a pair of doors in a spare room created the situation where the doors' default condition is closed rather than open. With this modification, a small rearrangement of the airflow in the house produced a warmer spare room. That is what I wanted.

Pros
  • Much better than the big box selection.....I would buy again
Cons
  • May not fit flush against the door or frame

Works very well best in my review

It’s a 2 pack but really you only need 1 per door. At least for inside doors. It’s not enough force to fully close a door with one but it will keep it pushed to the frame. Installs just like a regular hinge and it has different closing forces you can set with a pin.

Pros
  • Love it will buy more
Cons
  • Could be prone to binding or sticking if not installed correctly

Works great fits perfect

I have tried a few Springs from the local hardware store, none of them worked I guess cuz I have solid wooden doors.I have used this item for a few weeks now and it works great! no more running after the kids or getting out of bed just to close doors.

Pros
  • It's a pretty good product easy to work with install In minutes
Cons
  • Spring could lose tension quickly

High Quality Hinges

The quality of these hinges is what I have come to expect from products sold by Revain. They are of a very high quality in all respects. The company has an excellent product.

Pros
  • Simple to install and work perfectly. The hall bathroom door stays closed!!
Cons
  • May be more challenging to replace than traditional hinges

No more yelling at the kids to close the door!

All my doors close automatically. No more yelling at the kids to close the door! You can adjust the strength if you just want it to close or harder to latch.

Pros
  • Very easy to install. Just needed 1 for each of the bedroom doors.
Cons
  • Finish could easily chip or scratch
