I love these shorts and wore them to help protect my hips and backside from bruises when I learned how to snowboard. These saved me so many times and I didn't get a single bruise even when I slid all the way down a hill. They fit well and didn't slide or move around although they did feel a little tight around my hips. The pads are soft and aren't too bulky or uncomfortable. I would recommend these for anyone who is beginning a sport and wants to prevent injuries.

I'm not sure how one could accurately review this without having taken a bad fall. And even then how do you know it would have been worse without it? I was roller skating yesterday and a girl cut in front of me. We collided and I fell on my butt. This product protected me from injury/pain. I know others who had similar falls and they were in pain for several weeks.I heartily recommend this product!I would like to see XXL and 3XL sizes added to the product line.

Definitely a better product than I was expecting. I was impressed with the flexibility of the padding, I feared it would be too rigid, but, it conforms to the body well. I don't think it's enough padding to do much on hard ground activities (skating), but for winter sports I'm pretty sure they will fit the bill perfectly.They are comfortable enough, not too intrusive, and fit well under ski pants.

It just arrived, so I haven't tested it properly yet. It's a light and comfortable material. I'm 165cm/56kg and got the medium size, but a small would be much better if it was available. Fell on my butt rollerskating a couple weeks ago and hurt my tailbone, which still hurts. This hip butt protector offers a good amount of padding and protection. It definitely feels more suited for physical outdoor sports. The fit is right and it has a good amount of stretch, I do feel that if I were to take a fall this would help. It can feel kind of bulky but it's just a matter of getting used to it.

I have just gone thru 3 hip butt protectors with badly positioned cushions. They either miss my hip boneor just barely covers it Worse of all, they all have v-shaped cushions for the tailbone extending into the testicular region. The result is an impingemnet on my prostate. I've tried multiple diffferent padded shorts that are similar price, and this one is by far the best. The butt padding is the thickest and most effective out of any that I've tried. I've fallen pretty hard on it, and it really makes it almost pain free. Others really don't cushion nearly as well and will still hurt when you fall. Got this for hubby to wear while skating or snowboarding. They fit well under his sweats and snowboarding pants and are comfortable for him. He likes the extra padding when he falls. He’s happy with them.

These shorts are very well made and provide enough support and padding in the right places. This should alleviate a lot of the bruces that snowboarders usually get. It is well made and good quality. I would highly recommend it.

Product comes with netting storage bag which is excellent for drying after use. Padding is heavy yet remains maneuverable, which is excellent to protect from falls. Highly recommend for any snow sport to enhance your skills.

The smell is very strong. Bad plastic smell that is low quality plastic from china. How are products with this smell still allowed to sell ?

These pants are very useful when skiing. It really protected my butt when I fall. But better protection means thicker pants, it is a little bucky, hot and uncomfortable.
