Better than steel cables

Works well. Can be easily bent by hand. You just have to be careful not to make the curve too tight or it might kink. When you're done, put the correct fitting on the end and use the flare tool and you're done. It is good to know that this material does not rust like steel pipes.

  • Quality construction

  • Poorly thought out

Ease of use: Brake system

First time I've used this brake line! I liked it very much! Not as prone to bending as steel cable, and bells were easier to make. For me, as a softer alloy, it seals the joints better. I used pieces of Tyvek tubing where I attached it to the frame and differentials to protect it from abrasion. Bye. I will buy more.

Worked: hoses, lines and fittings

No more rusty brake lines. I've used other brands of copper-nickel brake lines that have worked better. This line seems to kink easier than the others when using a pipe bender. Some bells will leak if you have to loosen the cord after assembly and you have to cut the bell and unroll it again. Worked well and was cheap. More 1/2-20 fittings could be used.

Ideal if you are not afraid of dying

This metal is so soft it can slip off the fitting under working pressure no matter how good you are at making torches. I would not use this on a fridge water pipe and I would never risk your life putting this on your car. I am a technician who has worked on cars, boats and motorcycles for over 4 decades and I know that this is not the case with the braking system.

Has worked very well, best in hoses, lines and fittings

I like to use copper-nickel tubing because it's easy to form into bends. It holds well in the flaring tool and forms double flares more easily, and since the material is slightly softer than steel it is less prone to cracking. I replaced all of the lines in my GM truck and none of the flares that formed had any leaks. This is a good product that deserves your attention!

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • The list will go on.

If you want peace of mind driving older cars this is a MUST. The metal cables of most old cars rust and are a hazard to your family and other road users, especially when you really need them for work. My Honda CRV had coated lines, but there was still rust in many places and they eventually failed. I like doing the job once, right, and never worry about it later. I will continue to purchase this material for repairs.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs

It's like a box of chocolates. you never know what you will get!

The product is probably great if you get the right one! I am now on my second return. This kit is said to be "nickel copper tubing with fittings". The first time I received a roll of steel tubing without fittings. The second time I got the correct 1/4" hose with a 3/16" fitting kit. Absolutely useless. Apparently, there is a first year in 4Lifetime Lines who carries out his orders. I'm hoping I can just refund this order and buy the gear locally so I don't have to play roulette again while…

Superb tube - spares

This Ni-Copp tube is very easy to use. Unfold it against a piece of cardboard on a flat surface. Easily cut and expanded, bends much more easily than steel and is less prone to kinking (although you still have to be careful). I highly recommend the Mastercool hydraulic flare tool kit, pricey but works every time. The included fittings can be helpful, but it would be even better if they included multiple fittings (AGS BLU-4 equivalent). When repairing lines on European vehicles you will need a…
