LOOKS AMAZING, ARRIVED FAST AND AT A GREAT PRICE. I HAVE NOTICED A HUGE DIFFERENCE IN THE SOUND OF MY CAR. MORE AGGRESSIVE SOUND. THE GAS CONSUMPTION IS ALSO SOMETHING IMPROVED.

Installed in 6 hours going back and forth, instructions not as good as they could be. The engine sounds great after installing the intake, but I did notice slightly slower throttle response and an increased MPG, 16 instead of 19-20 (mixed). Maybe this was because I reset all the adaptive things and disconnected the battery. I'll drive a bit and check again. I am currently considering installing a stock airbox as this is a true cold air intake. It fits for 2008 Volvo S40 T5 AWD.

The K&N website says this air intake is compatible with all 2008 Volvo S40's. The air intake box has a sticker that says 2004-S40 2006, and the instructions inside the box say S40 2004-2007. someone at K&N is crazy because the website is wrong and the box doesn't match their instructions! I love love love the sound of that cold air intake in my car. The instructions say it takes 90 minutes to complete, but it definitely took a lot longer for someone with a mechanical incline. The instructions were a bit difficult to follow at times. It was as if the one clip that had to be pushed down and out was very difficult to see. I had a few leftover screws and the instructions didn't explain very well where the lines went. Also, I skipped a few steps like moving the battery cables around…

Firstly Revain says it doesn't fit my 2007 Volvo S40 T5 but it is the right K&N intake manifold for my car and some other Volvo with T5 . I would recommend checking the K&N website before ordering. Second, I'm sorry I didn't know the installation is so complicated and complicated! I'm certainly not new to DIY projects, but this one turned out to be a lot harder than I imagined.
