Low payload

For attaching wheels to a woodwork bench. It didn't even take a week for them to fall apart. Very brittle metal and joints. See photo - very low resilience.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • Available in black only

Ideal for stone wall inserts

Haven't had them long enough to know how rust resistant they are but they are great for stone wall inserts. The screws that come with the kit are long enough to cut into the plywood without sticking out the other side.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Overall a good buy from T-Nuts

Item received as described and good quality. I installed them on the underside of the workbench to secure the vise to the table, but I can remove the vise and still keep the entire tabletop. These t-shirts are perfect for that.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Material not strong enough

Suitable for hobby or light duty applications but not where significant holding power is required. I need a product strong enough to provide support while climbing. I found another carbon steel t-nut from Socell that would work for this purpose.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Zero

Pot Metal T-Nuts - Scrap

They are very weak and not suitable for applications requiring strength. If you're using 3/8"-16 fasteners then yes you need them. Strong Don't waste your money on this junk. The screwdriver bit that came with the kit was useful but not worth what I paid for the entire kit have paid.

Pros
  • Constant Test Results
Cons
  • No Auto

Do not use on the climbing wall

I bought these to use on the climbing wall in my garage. Everything setting up the climbing hold broke when I tightened it. The thread jumped right off the flange. I had to remove them all and replace them with t-nuts with a hammer. If one of them breaks while someone is climbing on it, they could be seriously injured.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Disappears

Low quality. Breaks when tightened

These nuts were terrible. I bought these to replace some of the hammers on my cross-threaded climbing wall because I decided it was best to install the screws after the panels were set up. Each of them broke when tightened. No transverse thread, but the entire threaded rod broke off the base plate when tightening the clamp.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
