The right choice in a sea of unknowns

I replaced a fairly new set of aftermarket pads that squeaked like crazy. I tried all the solutions to stop the squeaking, didn't work. So I decided to go with OEM quality ceramics. I should have paid a few dollars more and gotten it done first. These pads are absolutely silent, very smooth. Exactly what I needed. These pads have what it takes to replace small wear surfaces and being ceramic they will handle my SUV's towing and braking up hills.

Pros
  • Ceramic, semi-metallic and organic formulas provide safety and reliability for a range of vehicles
Cons
  • boring packaging

Best quality, best price.

I installed them on my 2002 Trailblazer and can't say anything bad about them. They are quiet, clean and last a long time. Ceramic pads are the best choice and were actually cheaper than other semi-metal pads. Semi-metallic pads aren't worth the extra noise, brake dust and shortened lifespan. I also recommend the Warehouse Deals option. I was fortunate to have a used option on the last few ACDelco items I bought here for extra savings.

Pros
  • Fits General Motors and most makes and models
Cons
  • Modern

Jobs is good - spare parts

Fits my 2003 Trailblazer perfectly. All rotors/pads replaced at the same time so it's hard to tell exactly how good these pads are individually. Suffice to say I'm happy with the overall changes and stopping power is good. Replacing pads/rotors is a fairly easy job that can save you some money. don't bring it to the store. You'll need some pretty basic tools, and there are LOTS of step-by-step guides online if you need them. However, brakes are important to your driving behavior and are not…

Pros
  • Some ACDelco Silver parts may have been formerly called ACDelco Advantage
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine
