🔧 ACDelco Professional Rack and Pinion Boot Kit 45A7084 with Protective Boot Review

Just what I needed for my 02 wrx van. Removing the tires makes installation easier, and rotating the wheel allows you to more easily install the part closest to the rack.

Slightly shorter than the original air sleeves on my 1999 Subaru Forester but I found them long enough. I couldn't tighten the inner (larger clip) so I had to use a zip tie instead.

sometimes not coaxial. I count the turns of the nut when removing and installing the block. The large clip does not fit and is difficult to hold. I used alternative plastic cable ties.

Includes metal clips on both ends. However, I could not mount the large end clamp. It's just too small and I didn't have a tool to compress it so I had to use a zip tie.

Fits my 2001 Forester. It comes with a C clip on the small end and a steel band on the other. I used a zip tie on the big end instead as it was easier to install and rust resistant.

Bought two boots to replace the torn ones from my Impreza 02 van. It comes with interchangeable inner and outer straps. The inner band requires special band pliers, but the outer band clip can be installed with pliers. Perfect fit and good quality. I would buy this again.
