Description of ACDelco Professional 6K739 Standard Serpentine V-Ribbed Belt

Made with temperature and crack resistant EPDM rubber for a long life and quiet, dependable performance. Is the belt of choice by professional technicians, lasting 50% to 60% longer than retail belts (low priced belts sold at car part stores). Its precision dimension control of rib profile transmits load efficiently throughout the accessory belt drive systems (ABDS) allowing components to operate at optimum levels. Able to operate and accept misalignment in the accessory belt drive systems (ABDS) far greater than other serpentine belts. Its flexible construction allows the belt to withstand billions of topside and backside bends resulting in a long belt life.

Toyota Corolla part

Just received and replaced the belt. Was easy to use, can't comment on durability as it hasn't even been a few days since I received it

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Scarce manual

Perfect fit for 2003 Corolla LE

This is a fantastic price for a great belt. I just replaced the A/C compressor and alternator on my 2003 Corolla LE and decided to put a new belt on as I took it off anyway. Rugged construction, perfect fit for the 2003 Corolla LE.

Pros
  • Beautiful packaging
Cons
  • Legacy model

Great Belt: Belt, Hoses & Pulleys

Proper OEM Part (better than an OEM part) Anyone with an AVEO knows timing belt problems and knows over 60,000 new honest things if you haven't done it or that have wasn't that good and want a good one, that's great.

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Modern

Looks great, keep

Looks great, too bad the mechanic lied about my old belt needing to be replaced. However, the ACDelco belt is so high quality and affordable that I'm saving it for later rather than returning it. I was really a bit disappointed when I took the old belt off and couldn't find a single tear so it was put back. Don't fall for the fuss, even if you need a new belt, replacing your own multi-ribbed belt can be one of the easiest under-the-hood jobs.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Came just right!

Installed this belt on my 2004 Toyota Corolla. Yes, I know AC Delco isn't a regular parts supplier to Toyota, but since Toyota and GM are collaborating on some vehicles, I figured it would be fine. In addition, AC Delco has a very good track record of making parts that work, fit and last. This item fit like a glove and after initial break-in didn't stretch anywhere near to the point where I'm worried about the tensioner reaching the end of its stroke to take up the slack.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good alternative to the expensive OEM product

I bought this for my 2003 Corolla because I didn't want to pay $50 for an OEM product and installed it myself. The item appeared to be of good quality and well packaged. There was an odd low throttle noise when the A/C was on and the steering felt heavy and weak in the middle, but I don't think it was related to the serpentine belt so I replaced it when the belt was too much started to squeak. This, to my surprise, solves both of the above problems and, of course, the car is much quieter.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Minor things
