Fits 2014 Impala LTZ Limited

(2014 Impala LTZ Limited) Fantastic Delco OEM AC cover in sealed, branded plastic packaging, matches the price! I replaced my cap because my old one didn't fit properly. I'm approaching 50,000 miles so as a preventive measure I've decided to replace the old cap. I cleaned the mouth of the gas port with Scotch Brite to remove dirt from the surface so my new cap rubber would last longer. Very happy with this purchase!

REVIEW REVIEW - PRODUCT FIXED "Tighten fuel cap " message

REVISED REVIEW: After 3-4 months it started to come loose after the rain. Then the spring in it failed. Switched to a partial trademark that still works satisfactorily. Exact replacement. Thick green rubber inner seal. Fits 2014 Chevrolet Impala Limited LTZ. I've used about 6 weeks without the "Tighten gas cap" message. The green rubber seal on the old gas cap appears wrinkled (thinner) and slightly concave.

Pros
  • Durable test results
Cons
  • The list will go on.

OEM Original for 2009 Flex Fuel Impala

OEM Original. This is a genuine ACDelco part at a great price. I was skeptical of how cheap it is, but it arrived in the original ACDelco packaging. Fits my 2009 Impala 3.5L V6 Flex exactly (Vin Code K). Fits tight. I see that others have noticed that it fits loosely. I have not experienced this. Note this for the flex fuel version (VIN: K&M), if you do not have the flex fuel version you will need part number GT283 (VIN code N and C).

Pros
  • Highly rated by testers for support and durability
Cons
  • Operating Speed

but the seals on the cap were dirty and deformed

The fuel cap leak indicator light came on a couple of times and I cleaned it. A few months later it started again. It was difficult to tell at the time, but the seals on the lid were dirty and deformed. Ordering an exact replacement gas cap for my 2011 Impala. It arrived quickly in good condition and was very easy to install. Looking at the new gas cap, it was easy to see what the problem was compared to the old one. The seals deformed back into the cap and did not form an airtight seal. The…

Disappointed: Caps

I ordered this replacement gas cap for my 2012 Impala. After 11 months and 6500 miles the check engine light came on. I bought a new cap from O'Reillys which immediately turned off the check engine light, but the cap is the original cap, not the yellow (E85) cap and has no plastic cap loss wire. After inspecting the cover of the AC Delco GT294, I noticed that the gaskets were deformed back into the cover and did not form an airtight seal. Upon purchase it was stated that ACDelco offer a 12…

Hey, it worked!: Gas Cap

First of all, this gas cap works for me! It came in a clear plastic bag labeled Delco Parts. My engine light has been on for two weeks now. My friend and I used two different counters to find the correct error code. Both counters found the same error code. Have watched several YouTube videos and googled this code number issue many times. The code I received was (Po442). This code was for (Emission Control System Leak, Minor). My car is a 2010 Impala. I installed on September 6th and today is…
