Trying to get this to work but there are some problems. First, there's no DVI input, it's really a VGA input. Found out my card has DVI-I so a DVI to VGA converter would work for me. The fonts and icons have a faint shadow, but the graphics look sharp. So what's the problem, I don't know. Maybe Windows 8.1 or some installation option I'm not aware of. I bought a 27" T272HUL monitor with a Surface 3. The monitor connected to a Surface 3 with 64-bit Windows 8.1 with no problems. Also, I don't have a problem with "ghosts" as others describe it. I'm using it with a Velocity Micro Vector Z25 tower running Windows 8.1 (the Velocity Micro is great, with no bloatware and a super-fast SSD). This Acer T272HL replaces the 27" Dell 2714T monitor which had a very short lifespan. Initially it worked reasonably with limited usage. This now works until I open multiple browser windows. If I only have iTunes open, I can use some of the touch functions. I can diagnose deeper and have an up to date driver etc etc. Unfortunately, Acer doesn't seem bothered to make this otherwise good monitor compatible with Win 10. And yes, I connected both cables.

The screen worked great for a few weeks until half of the screen went dark. I can still use it, but the image quality in the right half is very, very dark. Once in a blue moon, the fourth color cannot be restored, only for a few minutes. This thing works great with Windows 10 right out of the box. if you ALSO connect the USB 3.0 cable. Monitors will not function as touch screens if you only connect a video source cable to them. You also need to connect the touch sensor source cable. That means HDMI for video and USB for touchscreen. If you can't figure it out, read the instructions.
